The colors are certainly brilliant! I drove up Rt. 40 today to Hagerstown and both mountains (South and Catoctin) are ablaze in color! Trees line Rt. 40 and it was like driving through a watercolor palette. I enlarged your photos to get a better look. I especially like the one with the sunlight on the fern.

Thank you Cathy. We didn’t get out to the mountains this year and I’m feeling a bit sad about that. We do love the area. I’m so glad you had a lovely day to enjoy the glory of autumn.
