Of course there is much chatter in the tree tops, fledglings I think, begging for food.
The wild dogwood trembles almost constantly from foraging squirrels who tumble down from its branches and bluebirds who flash from the greenery. Summer life!
I’ve been trying to “capture” our hummingbird for days now. She visits my hostas and move quickly onto the next one. I can’t keep up with her!

Cathy, I can’t tell you how many photos I have taken and deleted since we first hung a feeder for the hummers.
This one is the best gift! Out in the bee balm they are far too quick for focus. I must say I’ve not looked for them in the hosta blooms – those are usually visited by big bumblebees, when not eaten for midnight snack by the deer.
