Elaine, I loved hearing the Wren. I hear so many different birds singing in our woods but only recognize a few. I think I’m going to have to be more purposeful in identifying which song goes to which bird. I will play your Wren sound bite every day until I have it fixed in my mind and then listen to see if we have Wrens. I think that is the only way I’m going to learn the different songs.

Cathy, I learned to identify them because they are so vocal! Their house hangs near a large window so I have a good view and first identified them by sight, then learned their somewhat incessant chatter.
