From My Desk in the Field

Collage June

The month of June has been unsettling. I’ve been spending a lot of time outside, working and thinking, sometimes writing a word or three. Wondering if the writing can or even should continue.

As I rarely post without photographs and I am having a bit of a learning curve challenge with some photo software issues, I feel somewhat lost.

That said, I have taken many photos with my phone, especially of flowers.

I’ve been using Instagram for a while. Stop by, if you like. I post under my name. day lily

Elaine, I love your swing! The fabric is especially eye-catching. I am the same about my photographs and writing. I take the photo then get inspired to write the words–not the other way around. Even when I write a children’s story I picture it first in my head before the words come. I hope you will continue writing. I should think the view from your swing should give you all the inspiration you need.

Most of the fabrics are now sun washed and softened and I do still love them, perhaps even more!
I always appreciate your encouraging words to me. Thank you.
